TakeCue is a personal recording app. You may use it to record, play back, edit, and share your own audio. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you — including recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction. Only record people who have consented to be recorded.
Your recordings are yours. They stay on your device; NYRAI LLC claims no ownership of and has no access to them.
TakeCue is free to record. TakeCue Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks unlimited sharing, unlimited band sessions, and the trim editor. Purchases are processed and governed by Google Play (or the App Store on iOS); refunds are handled under that store's policies.
"Play as a band" connects devices on the same local network so they can control a recording together. You are responsible for who you share your 6-digit band number with; anyone on your network with that number can control the hosting device's recording until you end the session.
TakeCue is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NYRAI LLC is not liable for any lost recordings or damages arising from use of the app. Keep backups of recordings that matter to you.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
